Laundry as white and pure as milk: all you need is this ingredient

To restore a white shirt's beautiful appearance and keep it white for longer, a few tips are useful for washing white clothes and laundry with simple techniques, both by hand and in the washing machine, to give them an impeccable look.

Before you start washing, you'll need all the necessary equipment to remove stains , namely a basin and laundry detergent. But first and foremost, you must separate the white laundry from the rest.

It is therefore advisable to apply a little degreaser to the collars and cuffs of white shirts , as they tend to get dirty more easily. Although many products on the market promise dazzlingly white laundry, in reality, our expectations are often disappointed.

If you plan to use bleach, for example to remove stubborn sweat stains, you risk damaging even the most delicate garments. Bleach can be extremely corrosive. To preserve your clothes and, at the same time, avoid polluting nature with chemicals, it is best to turn to more natural products and not overuse detergents in order to avoid leaving residues in the fabric.

To avoid stains on white clothes, it's advisable not to apply perfumes, deodorants, or other chemicals that come into contact with the fabric. Stains that form on white clothes, if left untreated, will eventually yellow them.

Furthermore, hanging laundry in direct sunlight during the hottest hours can discolor clothes and yellow whites. However, if this happens, we have a solution in the medicine cabinet.

What is the main ingredient in white laundry?
The official version of the creation of aspirin, that of the pharmaceutical company itself, continues to attribute to the German pharmacist Felix Hoffmann the exclusive credit for the development of acetylsalicylic acid.

Pure white linen
Aspirin, or the acetylsalicylic acid that composes it, has purifying properties, even if the packaging is expired and we can no longer use it.

So, if you need a deep cleaning of fabrics and to remove even stubborn stains , you can use aspirin, with the greatest respect for the environment.

How to prepare this whitening product? Pour hot water into a basin and add 5 aspirin tablets (325 mg each). Once dissolved, you can soak the clothes in the solution.

They are left to soak for about 8 hours, after which they must be wrung out and put in the washing machine, following the usual program.

A quicker alternative is to add 5 aspirin tablets to your usual laundry; although the result is less "dazzling" than the first, it is still satisfactory.
