Perfect for birthdays, parties, dessert tables, and homemade treats.
Ingredients:
2 cups chocolate cake crumbs (or leftover chocolate cake)
½ cup chocolate frosting (add gradually until mixture binds)
300g dark or milk chocolate (for coating)
100g white chocolate (for drizzle decoration)
Cake pop sticks
1 tablespoon butter or coconut oil (optional, for smooth coating)
Instructions
1. Prepare the cake mixture
Crumble the chocolate cake into fine crumbs.
Add chocolate frosting little by little.
Mix until the texture becomes soft and moldable.
2. Shape the cake pops
Roll the mixture into small, even balls.
Place them on a tray lined with baking paper.
Chill for 20–30 minutes to firm them up.
3. Insert sticks
Melt a little chocolate.
Dip the tip of each stick into melted chocolate, then insert into each cake ball.
Chill again for 10 minutes.
4. Coat with chocolate
Melt the remaining chocolate with butter/coconut oil until smooth.
Dip each cake pop completely into the chocolate coating.
Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
5. Decorate
Melt white chocolate and drizzle over the cake pops.
Let them set completely before serving.
Roll the mixture into small, even balls.
Place them on a tray lined with baking paper.
Chill for 20–30 minutes to firm them up.
3. Insert sticks
Melt a little chocolate.
Dip the tip of each stick into melted chocolate, then insert into each cake ball.
Chill again for 10 minutes.
4. Coat with chocolate
Storage
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
