A woman posted a video on TikTok and asked viewers a simple question; to guess her age. However, nothing could have prepared her for the answers she received which she simply said were ‘wild.’

Emily Jane posted a video of herself sans makeup and social media filters and asked people to guess how old she was. She was shocked to see that some thought she was in her forties, her fifties, while some even thought she was in her sixties!

“I’m 56, my guess is that you are close to 47,” one commenter wrote.

“I’m 42. I’d guess you’re around 51,” another person pondered.

“A really attractive 42, and I’m 29,” someone shared.

The answer that took the cake for Emily was one commenter who thought she was 58 years old.

“Do I genuinely look like I’m nearly 60? Like I’m nearly at retirement age? Do I actually look that old?” she asked in a follow-up video.

A lot of people of course also thought she was in her thirties and a few thought she was still in her twenties as well. The guesses were of a wide range.

Emily however, was shocked at people who guessed she was so old and finally revealed the truth about her age.

“I turned 36 last week, so only just 36,” she said.

And she is well aware of why people think shes older, its because she has stopped dying her naturally grey hair.

“I’ve had grey hair for quite some time now and it is a natural grey. I started going grey around 19, and people think because I’ve got grey hair, I’m over 50,” she said in her video.

She said even with her grey hair, she was shocked people were guessing she was older.

She said in the original video, that the eyebags she had were a result of sleepless nights because of having a newborn baby. She also said she wore no makeup or filters which might have given people pause, but in her opinion she looked totally normal.

“I’ve never had any work done. This is my face, and this is what I look like, and I think this is what most people my age would look like without a filter,” she shared.

She theorized in her video that peoples’ guesses for her age had less to do with her and more to do with how social media has conditioned people to view women.

She said that these days most people do not know what a woman looks like naturally since social media promotes cosmetic interventions and the use of filters to alter appearances.

“I think it is essential to remember that what you see on social media and what you see on television or what you’ve seen in magazines, and people have said this for years, it is not real. What’s your take?” she asked.

“Do you think we have a warped perception of age based on what we’ve been exposed to on social media?” she asked her viewers.

Some people however did not agree with her and said it was just her grey hair that was aging her.

“36 going on 60. It probably is the hair that ages you but you are still very gorgeous,” one person wrote.

“I think you look your age. I think it’s people’s perception that we only get white hair when we age. They can’t get past it,” another added in argument.

“It is just the hair that ages you. Your skin looks great,” someone shared.
While another person added, “I think people get confused by a younger person feeling comfortable growing their gray hair out.”

Pathologist found no signs of pregnancy

Dr. Robert Chapman, the pathologist who carried out Diana’s postmortem, testified that he saw no physical signs of pregnancy in her womb or ovaries.

“No, I did not,” he said when asked whether he had noticed any indication she was pregnant, according to the Guardian.

But there was an important scientific caveat.

Chapman explained that signs of pregnancy would not necessarily have been visible during its earliest stages, particularly within the first few weeks after conception.

“If one is dealing with a pregnancy, the appearance will vary depending, of course, on the duration of that pregnancy, but an established pregnancy will show as a change in the size of the uterus, a change in the thickness of the lining and the presence of a gestation sac,” Chapman said during the inquest, which started in 2007.

He continued, “I would say that from day one to seven, one could not or would not see anything. From day seven to fourteen, one might see something, although it is rather unlikely. Thereafter, there is an increasing likelihood of being able to see things which would indicate pregnancy.”

That sliver of scientific uncertainty helped fuel the theory that she was carrying the younger sibling to Prince William and Harry, and now, almost three decades after Diana’s death, it is being examined all over again.

Diana’s final hours revisited

The pregnancy claim is among the theories revisited in Celebrity Crime Scene: Princess Diana, a new FOX special co-produced by TMZ that premiered Aug. 20.

Using virtual reconstruction technology, the program recreates the crash from different perspectives while examining questions that have surrounded Diana’s death for decades.

Among the most explosive allegations came directly from Dodi’s father, who died at 94 in 2023.

Al Fayed claimed that Lady Di and his son had told him they were planning to marry and were expecting a child. He also accused authorities of embalming Diana’s body in Paris to conceal evidence of the pregnancy.

But that particular allegation was challenged during the inquest by Chapman, who told jurors that embalming fluid would not have interfered with his ability to identify physical signs of pregnancy during his examination of Diana’s womb and ovaries.

Al Fayed’s claims, however, extended far beyond whether Diana was pregnant.

‘That car didn’t accidentally crash’

The former owner of Harrods alleged that British security services had orchestrated the couple’s deaths because of their relationship and plans for the future, eventually pointing the finger at MI6 and Prince Philip as part of a sprawling assassination conspiracy.

“I believe in my heart 99.9% that it was not an accident,” Al Fayed told the BBC in 1998. “That car didn’t accidentally crash. There was a conspiracy. I will not rest until I have established exactly what happened.”

Those accusations were examined extensively during the inquest, and the coroner ultimately found no evidence that Prince Philip, MI6 or another government agency had orchestrated Diana and Dodi’s deaths.

Contraceptives and conspiracies

While the assassination allegations expanded the theory far beyond Diana’s pregnancy, the question at the heart of Al Fayed’s original claim received its own extensive scrutiny.

The inquest heard that Diana had been taking contraceptive pills and had given no indication to her doctor, relatives, friends or associates that she believed she was pregnant.

The ride opened in 2001, and has been linked to over a dozen serious injuries, several people left with comas or lasting disabilities, and two deaths, according to CNN. Despite repeated complaints over the years, state regulators allowed it to keep operating until last month.

The most recent cases involve Hawaii resident Pamela Guillen, 40, and Los Angeles resident Naomi Greer-Wilkinson, 25, both of whom needed emergency brain surgery after riding X2 within days of each other in July.

Guillen had been anxious about riding the coaster in the first place, wanting to join her 16-year-old daughter. She hit her head multiple times on the headrest during the ride, began vomiting once the car returned to the station, and lost consciousness shortly after. 

A CT scan revealed a severe subdural hematoma and brain compression. 

She woke from a coma two weeks later with a shaved and stapled head, with no memory of what had happened to her.

Just six days later, Greer-Wilkinson boarded the ride with her twin brother and younger sister. She lost consciousness soon after and was rushed into emergency brain surgery. Her family says doctors told them to prepare for the worst.

The two recent cases are unfortunately just the tip of the iceberg. Lucy Alvarez, 46, was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury after riding X2, having hit the back of her head hard on the ride’s headrest.

Alvarez continued experiencing dizziness and head pain even after returning home to San Diego, and an ER visit confirmed a traumatic subdural hematoma. According to her attorney, the injury forced her to abandon nursing school and has left her dealing with memory loss, balance problems, and chronic migraines. Her case is set to go to trial in October 2027.

In 2022, 22-year-old Christopher Hawley rode X2 with his brother and cousin, all three hitting their heads on the seats during the ride. He complained of feeling lightheaded before losing consciousness. His cousin later recalled in a court deposition, “I will never forget the fear from the look he gave me as his eyes closed.” 

By the time surgeons operated, his brain had swelled so severely it began pushing through the surgical opening. He died ten hours after riding the coaster.

Six Flags has confirmed only that “the ride remains closed at this time,” without addressing what prompted the shutdown or when, if ever, it might reopen.
