Crispy Melts Bang-Bang Bacom Cheeseburger Grilled Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 slices bacom
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bread
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Butter, for grilling
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Cook the Bacon

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy, about 8–10 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.

2. Make the Bang-Bang Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together:

    • mayonnaise
    • sriracha
    • honey
  1. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and adjust:
    • more honey for sweetness
    • more sriracha for heat

3. Cook the Beef

  1. Divide the ground beef into 4 thin patties shaped roughly to the size of the bread slices.
  2. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook in the same skillet over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
  4. During the last minute, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.

4. Assemble the Sandwiches

  1. Spread the bang-bang sauce on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Layer onto 4 slices of bread:
    • shredded mozzarella
    • cheeseburger patty
    • 2 slices crispy bacon
    • extra drizzle of bang-bang sauce if desired
  3. Top with remaining bread slices.

5. Grill the Sandwiches

  1. Butter the outsides of each sandwich generously.
  2. Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  3. Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until:
    • golden brown
    • crispy
    • cheese fully melted
  4. Press lightly with a spatula while cooking for an extra crisp texture.

6. Serve

  • Slice in half and serve hot.
  • Great with fries, chips, pickles, or coleslaw.

Optional Add-Ons

  • Caramelized onions
  • Jalapeños
  • Pickles
  • BBQ sauce drizzle
  • Pepper jack instead of cheddar
