Crispy Melts Bang-Bang Bacom Cheeseburger Grilled Sandwiches
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 slices bacom
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bread
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Butter, for grilling
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the Bacon
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the bacon until crispy, about 8–10 minutes.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and set aside.
2. Make the Bang-Bang Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together:
- mayonnaise
- sriracha
- honey
- Stir until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust:
- more honey for sweetness
- more sriracha for heat
3. Cook the Beef
- Divide the ground beef into 4 thin patties shaped roughly to the size of the bread slices.
- Season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Cook in the same skillet over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- During the last minute, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt.
4. Assemble the Sandwiches
- Spread the bang-bang sauce on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer onto 4 slices of bread:
- shredded mozzarella
- cheeseburger patty
- 2 slices crispy bacon
- extra drizzle of bang-bang sauce if desired
- Top with remaining bread slices.
5. Grill the Sandwiches
- Butter the outsides of each sandwich generously.
- Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Grill sandwiches for 3–4 minutes per side until:
- golden brown
- crispy
- cheese fully melted
- Press lightly with a spatula while cooking for an extra crisp texture.
6. Serve
- Slice in half and serve hot.
- Great with fries, chips, pickles, or coleslaw.

- BBQ sauce drizzle
- Pepper jack instead of cheddar
